Phil Kearns AM is an experienced business leader, investor and former Wallabies captain, with extensive experience across property, finance and corporate leadership. A two-time Rugby World Cup winner, Phil has held senior executive and board positions across a range of Australian businesses, including serving as CEO of AVJennings prior to its acquisition in 2025. He is currently on the board of Coolabah Capital and the RWC2027. He brings FundsConnect significant experience in leadership, strategic growth with a property and financial services background.
Stenio Orlandi is a highly experienced property and finance executive with more than 30 years’ experience across the residential property sector. He held a number of senior executive roles at AVjJennings, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, and was instrumental in overseeing the company’s financial and operational strategy through its sale in 2025. Stenio brings FundsConnect deep expertise across property development, finance, investment and corporate strategy.
Carl Thompson is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with more than 40 years’ experience across legal, governance and financial services. He served as General Counsel and Company Secretary of AVJennings, and prior to that Downer EDI Limited providing senior legal and strategic counsel across corporate transactions, governance, risk and the company’s acquisition in 2025. He was formerly a Partner in National Law Firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Carl brings FundsConnect extensive expertise in corporate governance, commercial transactions, regulatory matters and strategic risk.
Andrew Beckett is an experienced finance and fintech executive with a strong background across commercial lending, financial technology and broker distribution. He has spent more than a decade building relationships across Australia’s SME lending and broker ecosystem, developing strategic partnerships and helping shape technology-led approaches to commercial finance. Andrew brings FundsConnect valuable insight across fintech, lending, broker networks, partnerships and the evolving Australian finance landscape.
